This plan is designed to produce a fixed profit on each bet and at the same time to recover losses made from previous bets.
If Safe Recovery box is not ticked, in the end if you don’t have a running loss, your profit will be equal to Target Profit multiplied by number of bets you placed (no matter how many of them won). It works so because every time you lose, the plan adds one point (Target Profit) for the next bet so if it wins you make profit for two races. Multiplier shows how many points (Target Profit) are added into the bet currently.
You can set Multiplier Limit to limit max number of points that can be placed with one bet. For example, if you wish to bet running loss plus 1 target profit after 1st loss, you can set Multiplier Limit at 1.
If Safe Recovery box is ticked, the plan will run recovery without adding Target Profit to the bet size. This way your final profit will be equal to stake multiplied by number of winning bets which were placed out of recovery cycles.
Recovery is spread over specific Number Of Recovery Bets.
For example, if you have lost £12 on first bet, it will recover this loss over next 3 bets, £4 per bet. Thus if 3 bets win you will make back £12 plus £6 of your stakes. If your bet loses the loss will be added to your Running Loss and spread over 3 bets again.
You can set Max Running Loss. If your current loss exceedes this figure the bot will keep recovering (Max Running Loss) / (Number Of Recovery Bets) amount per bet no matter how high your actual loss is. It can be useful to keep your stakes under a reasonable limit. If you don’t want to have a limit for your loss, just set Max Running Loss at zero.
You can also tick Clear Loss If Above Maximum box. Then your current loss will be reset to zero as soon as it reaches Max Loss To Recover amount.
Example (Target Profit = 10, Number of recovery bets=2, Safe Recovery=NO, Max loss to recover=0):
Bet# | Running Loss | Bet | Runner’s Result | Profit/Loss |
---|---|---|---|---|
Bet1 | 0 | 10 @ 2.00 | Won | -10 |
Bet2 | 10 | 25 @ 3.00 | Lost | +25 |
Bet3 | 5 | 15 @ 2.0 | Won | -15 |
Bet4 | 20 | 30 @ 2.0 | Won | -30 |
Bet5 | 50 | 55 @ 3.3 | Lost | +55 |
Bet6 | 25 | 35 @ 4.47 | Lost | +35 |
Bet7 | 0 | 10 @ 2.20 | Won | -12 |
Calculations: Bet1 = Target Profit x 1 = 10 Bet2 = (Target Profit x 2) + (Loss to recover / Number of recovery bets) = 20 + 10/2 = 25 Bet3 = (Target Profit x 1) + (Loss to recover / Number of recovery bets) = 10 + 10/2 = 15 Bet4 = (Target Profit x 2) + (Loss to recover / Number of recovery bets) = 20 + 20/2 = 30 Bet5 = (Target Profit x 3) + (Loss to recover / Number of recovery bets) = 30 + 50/2 = 55 Bet6 = (Target Profit x 1) + (Loss to recover / Number of recovery bets) = 10 + 50/2 = 35 Bet7 = Target Profit x 1 = 10 If for example above Mupltiplier Limit was set at 1, the Target Profit part of the stake would have been always multiplied by 1 in all bets.
